So you all know that STG is doing this contest, yeah? They've hidden "III" three times in the Together Again video and want us to spot them, while instructing us to not share where we see them.

So, I'm not asking where, but is anyone else seeing more than three III's? I've "seen" a handful of them now, and feel like I'm going crazy. I can't help but wonder if the obvious III at the end counts because it's not hidden.

Sigh. I'm ready for them to reveal the answer.

Ha, I've watched it many times and am also seeing III's all over the place, like I'm losing my mind. I was wondering about the obvious III at the end, as it does fit within the given time instruction, but at the same time they said they are all hidden. I have found three others that seem "real" enough to be the three, and those are what I submitted.

The good news is they will be annoucing the people who got it right daily, and so IF we get it wrong, we can re-submit the next day, and so on until the contest closes. So if I'm wrong, I'll just go with a bunch of other III's I "think" I see.. Lol

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Wink

Exactly what I was thinking and coming here to mention. I'm glad we can keep on resubmitting.

And in the end, winners are chosen at random.. that's the only let down. 11 winners out of, let's say, 500 people who get it right? Sad

Alright, I'm confused. I know that STG replied to you (Matt) on facebook about being able to resubmit each day if the submission is wrong...but below the entry form for they say one entry per person. Huh?

Yeah, but they said if you are incorrect you should try again (once they post the daily list without your name on it). It was strange when I read the one entry, but I'll take their word. Haha. Also, they posted the obvious III at the end of the video does NOT count. Phew.

So a question, to those whom have seen the threes?  is it that ||| symbol, or just the visual representation of like anything thats 3 in a row- for example at one point there is 3 trees in a row, that for a second or three, cast a shadow thats an abstracted 3 symbol

just curious

STG posted "they are distinct IIIs." Only five people have it right so far, so who knows.. we all lose. Hah! Try again!

Got'em! That hint really helped. They ARE distinct.

I'm glad they clarified that it's not the big III at the end (not that I guessed it anyway, but it's nice to know for sure). I'm definitely trying again tomorrow! I'm pretty sure one of my guess is right, but the other two might be too far fetched.

I don't know how their "distinct" hint helped you. To me a slight variation would make some distinct.

Two weeks to get it! I can do this. Cheesy

I don't know how much I can say, but this kinda go along the lines of the III's being distinct, so.. it has nothing to do with the tracks in the snow, the trees, the tree's shadows, the sun reflections, etc. and that's where I was "seeing" III like ten or more times. It is simply the marking "III" and not a crazy out-of-this-world image that I was coming up with before in my mind.

Basically.. watch it slowly and pay attention. I hope I didn't say too much..

Ah, well, that cancels out a ton of my III's. I was seeing them all over in nature. Lol.

Oh, oh, oh!!! I definitely found onetwo! If only I could will my eyes to find the 3rd! I've been at it for 30 minutes now. Gah!

Feel like my brain is melting  Tongue

I've seen two types of distinct IIIs that each appear in similar fashion but at multiple times and places in the video. I'm guessing they want the first time you see it (or maybe I'm going looney, idk)

Saved a copy of the video to my computer and am analyizing it frame-by-frame. Azn

I was seeing threes every five seconds. God knows which are the correct ones.

@brivette007, you'll definately get it that way. I played back the video at 1/2 speed, sometimes even 1/4, to be sure. It takes a little extra time, but you'll find all three.

How do you do that? I have two of them from my click-pausing, but my other guesses I can't confirm because I can't react fast enough.

Enter the Youtube link to this website and it will let you download the video:

http://keepvid.com/

Then, I opened the video with Windows Live Movie Maker (comes with Windows) and changed the playback speed under the Video Tool Edit options. Good luck Smiley

I found that playback in Quicktime is the best. You just pause the video, and press the arrow keys to go frame by frame (hold it down to go a little faster)

Yes, but if you play at 1/4 speed, you don't have to press anything. It moves (slow) automatically Wink

I found all 3 by watching the video at the highest P setting on Youtube. They are definitely there. And you'll smack your forehead when you see them all.

I know I found them all, but I worry I might have put the time stamp in wrong. O__O
