Video Games

I'm pretty sure you guys here play video games, am I wrong? I'm a girl but my guy friends love playing video games, especially when they come over my house. But sports are better; much better.
Anyways, I have an Xbox 360 and a PS3... my brother and I share the same account on the Xbox and we don't play the PS3 very much since we recently got it. I play FPS games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 with my friends but mostly I like playing solo games like Alan Wake or the old Grand Theft Autos (since IV sucks).
Recently, I've been playing Mortal Kombat (Xbox 360) and LA Noire (the only game we have for PS3). Mortal Kombat is quite an interesting game with tons of gore... I like it. LA Noire, on the other hand, is different. I enjoy investigation, law enforcement, and want to be a police officer when I'm done with school, but the game is just... I don't know. It's discrimating towards women (which is very offensive) and it's racist, but that was the cultural expectation of the USA during 1946/ around the Vietnam War era. The main reason why I even brought the game was to be a detective... blah.
Yeah, video games are fun when you need to relieve stress by punching someone and have their blood splatter everywhere on the television screen, but some could go very wrong. So, what do you guys think of video games? What are you playing and are you enjoying it?

I like them, but I'm by no means a gamer. I'm really not that coordinated with the controllers. I don't really play to relax or when I'm bored, just when I'm in the mood to play. We have a Wii, PS3, PS2, Nintendo 64, and a Super Nintendo. I like to play Mario Kart and Harvest Moon on the Wii, and Little Big Planet on the Playstation. I don't really play on the older units. I really like the Professor Layton games on my Nintendo DS too. Puzzle games are the best (and I'm good at them, which helps, unlike Mario Kart). Oh, I played WOW on the computer for about 8 months last year. That game is terribly addicting.

I enjoy video games. I only have a DS and my computer, and the games I play are (apparently) very common for artists to play (zelda, pokemon, final fantasy). BUT I enjoy watching my brother play on his game consoles, especially when he plays Call of Duty, Fable II, Dragonage, and the Halo's. I've played a few times with him, but I really enjoy games with more fantasy and visuals to them, hence the pokemon/zelda/FF. I really REALLY wanna play the Star Wars games, but haven't got the consoles for them.

I'm not that much of a gamer, I just play a few games when I'm bored. Mainly just games like FIFA (thanks to EA for including You Are the One back in FIFA 07... ). And next to that I started playing WoW with a lot of IRL friends back in 2008 and I played it quite a lot for like 1,5 years. But I agree, it can be rather addicting. But after a while you've seen it all and endgame is just no fun anymore. Now I occasionally play it just to quest around and have fun on an RP server (after my old server pretty much died 'cause of Faction Change...) or on a trial account.

I would be muuuuch more of a gamer if I actually had money and could afford to buy any systems/games. T_T

My favorite kind of games are fighting and fantasy/adventure. I currently only have a Wii and play the heck out of SSB Brawl, Epic Mickey, and Tatsunoko vs Capcom lol.

I hope to get a PS2 and/or PS3 once I have a job. XD

I also really enjoy the Super Nintendo lol. 'Zelda: A Link To The Past' 4 lyfe~

I like to play Halo Reach online. I'm pretty good at it and about half way in ranks.
Mostly everything I play is on XB360.

Its a huge game site. I play Shell Shock Live. Its a fun little tank game.

When I have time from work and school, I love playing MW3 or Battlefield 3 online. But I enjoy playing RPG games like Pokemon and FF. I would like to buy the 3DS for the new Pokemon game and the new Resident Evil game coming out this Febuary. I can't say that I'm a gamer but I do enoy playing video games.
