we were talking about it in the other thread, and i was curious about everyone else's thoughts on it.
i personally hate drinking because i get really bad hangovers (some people just don't take to it well), the stuff tastes horrible, and it's not very fun in the first place, in my opinion.

I wouldn't know, having never gotten drunk. Or really drinken at all.
Once, in France, I had a glass and a half of red wine. Made me get a head ache. So that's about it.
But i don't like drinking because although sometimes people can be REALLY funny, they can also be really stupid and obnoxious.
They can also be REALLY REALLY funny though. I mean, hilarious.. Ahh, the stories.

Depends on what I drink. I can handle Wine nicely. Beer is just nasty. Vodka is alright..
And I'm kind of a silly / loud / wild drunk.. Dancing on pool tables.. Trying to climb the stairs on my hands and feet... stripping layers off... singing to music that's not there...
then a good night of puking. And a morning with one bad ass headache.

the hangovers generally don't make drinking worth it for me. i'll puke for half the night, and i'm extremely sick for the whole next day, and even a little lightheaded two days later. and that's from about a dozen or so shots of 40% vodka/whiskey (about enough to get your average lightweight fairly drunk, but not completely smashed).

Well, that all sounds good and fun. But I'm gonna pass on the drinking. Probably for a long long time..
I really have this deep hatred for puking...
And Matt, singing to music that isn't there? Pretty much sounds like my daily life...

I absolutely hate beer. It makes my stomach upset. Absolutely disgusting, imo. Heineken has to be the worst beer I've ever tasted. The first time I got drunk, I got drunk from Jack Daniels. Not a good start. I ended up puking in the middle of my friends home (which she ended up cleaning it up haha), locked myself in the bathroom, sat on the floor with my head over the toilet for about an hour. Then when I finally got up, my friends put me to sleep LOL. I've been drunk several times in between, but my next memorable time I got drunk was last New Years. ^_^ We ended up hanging out really late because everyone had work, so we celebrated New Years in the car right after picking up 3 bottles of Smirnoff Vodka ^_^ When we got to my friend's house, we popped open the 3 bottles. One of my friends didn't drink, so that was more for us. I ended up taking over the Watermelon Vodka and drinking about 2/3's of the bottle by myself. There are actually some videos lurking around Facebook of me drunk that night. my god. lol. I tried jumping up on the kitchen counter while I was drunk. Has anyone EVER tried jumping up on something while drunk?!? HAHAHA. I think it's nearly impossible for me! It's like I am pushing up, but gravity is just definitely my WORSE enemy! HAHAHA. I've never really had a hangover, though. The day after New Years, I couldn't stand being around liquor, though. My dad was pouring some Brandi into his coke, and I think I almost vomited, haha, but that was pretty much it. I think I am still kind of burnt out on drinking though. I've drank a little since then, but never gotten drunk again. I just like getting buzzed =]

So much better! Because all I do is just giggle and laugh really hard. When I'm drunk, I'm all over the place. Probably finding a good place to vomit. haha.

I generally drink socially, not very often, and not with the purpose of getting drunk. Hangovers are not my friend. I despise vomiting and I am not stupid enough to get drunk to the point where I'll puke.
Note to all of the underagers out there. Once you reach the legal drinking age, there really isn't an allure to getting wasted anymore.

I downed a 375ml (12 standard drinks) vodka bottle in 4 or 5 hours. Not a good idea. I was just sitting on a bar stool at my friends place, finishing off the bottle with a bit of Coke, feeling really drunk, when a thought hit me. Something about puking up.
So, for some reason, I heeded the "warning" and walked to the bathroom. Lo and behold, as soon as I got there, BARF! It was really wierd. You usually can feel it coming from a mile off. But no, not this time.
I felt like absolute gutter **** after. Just went to bed.

Yeah, that's why it was so weird. Now my friend's dad tells him which comes through to me, that he had to use a ****load of cleaning products. I feel so darn bad about it, so I'm gonna get some hippie-dude to buy me a six-pack of Carlton mid-strength to give to him as a "sorry" present.

Your liver hates you, doesn't it? You're going to die of alcohol poisoning one day, hele, if you keep drinking like that.
