Music is such an amazing thing.

Look! People of all ages from all over the States and beyond came together because of the love of music.
--That's just one thing music does for people. That......and too much time on your hands Smiley

Just thought I'd share my thoughts Cheesy

I agree. I was in a store the other day and saw these glass plaques... Each had either a guitar, or drum set or mic... blah blah and an awesome saying about music on them... Like, Without music, life could not exist.. or something like that.

20 bucks each. When I get my own place, I'm gonna buy them all and line them up along a wall. Music = Love.

Cool! Heck ya that would be awesome to have. I can't wait to move out on my own. For the independence but also because I want to decorate it sooo bad. In my room I have this cool vintage/rockstar/urban look going on. And I hung up my shiny toy water gun Cheesy looks soo cool! Apartments are expensive over here. You need at least 2 other roomies to be able to afford it. Is it super expensive over there?

Oh and I found this quote.

"Without music, life would be a mistake." -Friedrich Nietzsche

Was that it?

It is interesting.

And I like your little comment about 'to much time own our hands'...
yeah...

I also like that quote quite a bit.

I know you weren't asking this to me, but here, it is SUPER expensive for your own place.
Even though I'm not getting my own place anytime soon...

Yes, I remember seeing that one... But there were a whole bunch of them with different quotes. They were awesome.

Yeah, it's expensive here too. My town is pretty much costly to live in. Otherwise I'd be out on my own.

And omg, I want to move out so I can decorate my own place as well! That's my biggest reason. We'd be perfect room buddies, dearest Natty.

I live on my own. 700 rent a month for a single room in a shared house. It rocks. I love it. Roommates, decorating, living next door to young single men... *drifts off*

And seriously, life without music? I could not produce art. My mind would be blank and boring. Things would be less bright and vibrant. Would I love truly? Fully? Lastingly? Music makes it all worth while and keeps it going on.

Sometimes, if it weren't for music, people wouldn't talk to each other. Sometimes when I am in the store and I tell my friends "help me find this album" and a store clerk is nearby, they automatically jump in and ask if I need help and start talking about the band with me and whatnot.

I even had this one amusing conversation in Hot Topic with this guy who thought that Nirvana (Kurt Cobain in particular) had TERRIBLE vocals. And saying terrible would be an understatement for him, haha. But I find it amusing how music really does bring people together.

And not only bringing people together, but how music itself moves people, inspires us, gives us a reason to live. Lots of things. It's one of the most beautiful things in this world.

Hmm, interesting. I guess all around places are expensive. I found a house of 2 girls looking for a 3rd for $400/m includes utilities in a nice neighborhood in the middle of town. That's not too shabby!!

I think you've really summed it up well CrescentMoon07

"And not only bringing people together, but how music itself moves people, inspires us, gives us a reason to live. Lots of things. It's one of the most beautiful things in this world."

And yeah I'll go up and ask if they have a certain album in and so far at Hot Topic and this cd place Rasputin Music I've had really long conversations about all sorts of bands and which ones I "neeeed to check out" and I'll recommend some too. I love it. And it's like, the next time you go in they know you! Cheesy It makes me happy!

And miss Alli

True that. 'Blank and boring' is what I'd imagine. Think about erasing every band that ever existed. Take out the music in movies or tv shows or commercials, how incredibly boring would everything be? Bleh.

I'm excited I get to see the band Aiden tomorrow!!! Woo woooo! Hopefully get to meet wiL's fineeee booty Wink

And seriously, Shiny Toy Guns....if you want to go see them I'm down to go to SF or LA although, if it's LA we have transportation and a place to stay for free!! (Friend lives there Smiley) I'm impatiently waiting for more tour dates to go up!

and Shocked My 21st birthday is in 29 days!!!!! You're all invited Wink

Wow this was a long post.

You're seeing Aiden?

My friend is so in love with them. She blows all her money on them everytime they have a concert here.
Which is a lot, since it's their home town and all.

oh, and happy almost birthday Natty!!

Yes, tell us!!!

Also, natty, we should totally go see them together! If you come up here, you can stay with me so you don't have to transport back to your place of origin and die on the road. And if we hit up LA, it would be a couple days because I need to justify such a long distance more to other people. STG is a reason for anything, for me.

Alriiighttt! I'm totally down. I'll keep checking on tour dates and we'll figure it out! How fun!

If it's in LA for sure I know I'll be taking a few days off of work. There's oh so much to do there. And same thing for SF if I go up there I'll probably take just a few days off, make it a nice little vacation haha.
