Ok, anyone else have this happen to them? You're driving...listening to 'Shaken' and then has about 36 to 37 seconds go by and they put on that frickin alarm sounding thing. I get SO scared cuz I usually have the music really loud. Stops my heart every time...haha I haddd to post it to get it out of my system because I think you guys/gals actually know what I'm talking about (I hope haha) And then on the song 'It Became A Lie On You' when I uploaded it to my itunes, it had a capital O on 'YOu' typo from STG?  And I don't know if I'm the only one, but when I hear the song, 'Blown Away' I laugh in the opening when Chad says "Daaaaysss, I haven't seen dayssss" every time...I don't know..I'm a nerd. And he sounds silly in Season of Love...all high pitchy  What about all you people? Any of these songs make you laugh or freak you out because of a sound they put in? I'd love to know I'm not the only one who thinks about these things haha. |

Not so sure where ur coming from with Blown Away.. lol
But when I listen to Nothing Compares 2 U at night when I'm half dozing off... the music always jolts me awake.. frightening the hell out of me.
The music in Waiting sounds like an 80s horror theme.. Kinda scares me. lol
Season of Love speaks for itself.

yeahhh Waiting does sound like 80s horror theme. That's why I didn't really like it until recently when I actually gave it another shot.
I duno, I think it's funny how he says, "Daaaaaysss" as the opener for the song. It makes me giggle. It just sounds silly.
And I guesssss Season of Love can be all high pitchy and feminine sounding because after all, it's all about the mushy gushy Love Love Love!
*blush* I've never heard Nothing Compares to You. Wow, I just searched for it and it's awesome!!!! I like it a lot!

I THINK it's in Le Disko, somewhere toward the end, there's a noise in the background that sounds like a train.
So I was on the train today, and it just so happened that I was listening to STG when I heard that train noise coming from the song, but I thought it was actually coming from the train I was on. It freaked me out. I took off my earphones just to see if I was the only one who heard the noise, but no one else seemed to notice anything. I was feeling a bit silly by this point. I never paid THAT much attn to the song that I heard a train noise before. So when I was on my way home from class, I was listening to STG again! And once again I heard the noise - and I made this little chuckle to myself because I finally realized it was the song.
Yeahhhh. I have REALLY sloooow moments like that. Rofl.

Oh yeah and at 1:51 on 'You Are The One' reallyyy scares me when I'm driving. It sounds like a horn or something. That one really stops my heart....I think I should just turn down the volume...lol. Seriously though, just turn up the volume in your car (It only works when you're driving.) Just listen to You Are The One and Shaken. Do it!!
Hmmmm train sound...I'm trying to think of which one that is. I'll try and figure it out. Haha that's funny I can imagine sitting there and seeing someone freak out all of a sudden and take out their earphones. I'd actually laugh out loud.

Okay, so I can't take "Sky Fell Over Me" seriously. At all. I mean, why did they make Chad's voice so weird?!
I put it into a program and lower the frequency, which is how I realized it was Chad's voice. And then I saved a copy with his normal voice. I like it better when it sounds more like him.... less high pitch. I mean... what!?

Wait, Sky Fell Over Me was sung by Chad? Are you sure?! I thought it was Ursula or something. I mean, it's a good song and is supposedly dedicated to a friend they lost.

Nothing Compares 2 U is too dark... I don't like it until it picks up.
The silliest thing about the Shinys is that they don't want to release any of their 'unreleased' songs. I downloaded a leaked copy of Love Or Something Like It, and I think it's one of the best songs ever made by them. Especially that dark electro chord that pops up occasionally.

I noticed in Starts with one (and i point it out in my cover of the song) that at 1:01 you can hear an "AGH" sound. It always catches me off guard. It strange that chad sings "Sky fell over me". If you listen to Turn to real life with Ursula and then this song you can see the similarity. That still odd.  SOL makes my sister laugh. LOOOOVEEE!!! I love to sing this one. Its fun. |
