Does anyone know where I can possibly purchase an NES console? I've been trying ebay for the past few days, but apparently I fail at bidding at the last minute...

I'm not looking for the Super Nintendo. I'm looking for the original, Classic Nintendo.

I've looked at tons of sites, but they are either all over priced or sold out. =[

I wanted to get this for my dad because he loves playing the original Nintendo. We have this TV (that's probably older than me!) with the Nintendo built in, but that kinda stopped working a few years ago and he is still reluctant to toss the TV away lol.

So yeah, if anyone possibly knows where I could look for one, please let me know?

Thanks,
Erica

Tried Craigslist?

Otherwise, you may have to become awesome at last minute bidding. :/

But, seriously, Craigslist for Chicago is showing tons of NES nintendo stuff. Cheesy

There is these two old farts that run a website detailing their garage sale bargains. They pick up SNESes, controllers, and about 100 complete games for $5 usually. Shocked

5 dollars? Wow.

Well, I already snatched one on ebay, so that's okay. The price was a little expensive, lol. But that's okay. I wanted it really bad and that's before I saw that I could look on Craigslist. That didn't even cross my mind! Probably would have been a lot cheaper huh? lol.

Good to know you found one. I was going to recommend checking a pawn shop or buy/sell/trade shop. You know, something with used electronics. That's what I do to aid my dvd collecting addiction Roll Eyes

Well, I would have been surprised if the OP hadn't found one by now, he/she's had over 2 years.  Tongue
