Hey guys!
I have something to confess and its that i have never actually been to a proper concert ever in my life and im 15...... yes i know shame on me but i promised myself that i would wait for shiny toy guns to come to Australia(fingers crossed) so if anyone has ever seen them live could you please tell me whats it like?
Every detail would be appreciated because im really curious to know what theyre like and if theyre the best concert you guys have ever been too?

Well I can tell you they're amazing. I was privileged enough for them to actually consider coming to my small town in the middle of California, USA. It was hot. The wait was long. But it was SOOO worth it. They were incredibleeee. Pretty much flawless. Chad was cracking jokes and making fun. It was pretty cool =). I would highly recommend you find a way to go to a STG show. They're worth it.

it lasts about 3-4 hours if you listen to all the bands

did you go to the SOMA show?  i wanted to go, but i didn't have enough money to get some friends to go with me, and i figured going alone wasn't worth it.  plus, i probably wouldn't have been able to get a ride down there.

anyway, to answer your question, they are great, and they will come to Australia even if it takes a while.  they're a tour band, they live on the road.  until they started working on Season of Poison, they had been touring for nearly three years straight, and they'll most likely start it up again in the weeks prior to the release of the album.  just be patient, and you will have the opportunity to see them.  also, an average concert will last anywhere between 2-4 hrs depending on if they have any opening acts (STG normally does).

One time, they went to a venue, that had claimed to be all ages, but it wouldn't let fans in under the age of 21 (or was it 18?) and everyone was upset. So they played in the parking lot. Because they love us.

And that's why I love them.

Yeah, they are pretty much awesome like that. They really love their fans. REALLY. I mean, it's pretty safe to assume they could start playing at bigger venues now and sell enough tickets. But they still choose small ones so they can be close to us! How is that not just the coolest?

it's definatly the coolest. makes me want to clasp my hands
and stare dreamy eyed into space for a bit while my heart
swells up with extreme love.

i might go do that right now, actually.
