I know that the band said it was hand done in it's entirety and I have to say, that makes me really appreciate this thing because hand animating something takes FOREVER and is a lot of hard work. Plus, this is in color and is very tightly done, so, wow.

I can put it into even more perspective if you like.  I was in an animation course last term and our final project was a short animation. It was supposed to be loose, sketchy, and done in pencil. Mine was less than a minute long, in stickly figures, and it took me a month of genuine all nighters, spending the night in the animation lab, and hand injuries. I starting feeling faint imagining drawing the whole music video in loose pencil, then tight pencil. Then tight ink. Then adding color on the computer... *breathes in paper bag* |
