i love how season of poison sounds, but it's not the same STG sound that i fell in love with in the beginning in we are pilots.
doesn't mean that season of poison is going to be absolutely sick. ;]
that's the way to think of it!! well to tell you the truth, i was furious when i found out carah left. i was IN LOVE with her voice, and i thought stg would be completely different from now on. i left a comment on their myspace, letting them know of my disapproval, but jeremy sent a comment back and reassured me by saying: "on september 12 I will remind you that you thought we changed into the sound of one song that is 2 minutes and 47 seconds long when we post another tune up here. patience .. " so i stuck it out, and then frozen oceans came out and i fell in love. [: yes. i was very furious too. i kept telling everyone no way this 'Sisely chick' could live up to Carah's talent. but she pretty much did. and i loved the songs they put up. and her voice was so pretty. i still miss Carah, but Sisely's voice makes me miss her a little less. :]

I haven't heard Season of Poison, but I'm hoping it will be better then We Are Pilots. I am really loving Ricochet and it seems like their new CD is a bit more bold then We Are Pilots. I miss Carah already though!

Oh, yes, we do miss her. But she is happy making her own way with her own band, and we want her happiness above all else, right?
AND, Sisely is totally awesome.
Reminds me. Who thought Sisely was pronounced siss-ull-lee and who thought it was size-lee. I thought it was the latter until I met her and heard Jeremy call her by the former. And then I felt dumb.

Yeah. i wonder how her band is doing. I'm going to have to look up new on Carah now. when she comes out with her own album, i'm for sure buying that too.
uh. i thought it was pronounced sissulllee. is that correct?

Better than We Are Pilots? Hmmmm.... Tough one. It's definitely a much darker album.. Which is great cause I'm all about the darkness. And some songs are like... insanely awesome. Ghost Town = epicness.
The thing about this album is that it needed MORE songs. Even if they were remakes of older songs (they threw in Turned to Real Life, why not a couple others?)
But right now I'm keeping it at an dead tie. Maybe after hearing it more it'll actually step up above WAP. But for now, a tie. It's an amazing album though.. With a bunch of new favorites for me. It just needed a little more to it. Electronic wise and in number of tracks.

Do you think they might rerelease it then? I know they're more established and such, but do you think they might? If they agree with us on the 'needs more' bit? Or do you think there is no way, flat out, that they'll redo it.

I don't think it really needs to be redone. Just rereleased with a few extra tracks. That's all it really needs. The whole thing just ends too quickly and leaves you crying for more.

Oh. Sad... Yeah, I can see the want for more. Sometimes I am even shocked when my WAP has ended on the CD player in my car. I'm thinking, "What? Already?!" They just slip by you. Curses.

That is very true. I've been forced to get my STG fix by hunting up random bits of lovely shiny merch.
