I personally haven't even bought SOP yet, i checked out of few of thire new songs on thire myspace and wasn't very impressed... Anything from WAP short of Shaken is pretty solid however, and i still love the band to death and yeah i'll eventually give SOP a try, but not anytime soon. But thats just me.

But I do have to ask, like Matty, what did you listen to? Because some of the songs don't do as much justice. But they are improved upon as you take the album as a whole.

I like WAP more too. I hope we get more electric sounds soon.

Jeremy said that they were going to go back to a style more similar to WAP, and less SOP. So, yay!

Good, because SOP doesn't even sound like STG.

Well, I think it sounds like them, but just not the STG from WAP. Which is what we are used to. But, to me, it still sounds like them.

Same. To me, I compare it to (forgive the nerdyness) Harry Potter the books being WAP and Harry Potter Movies being SOP. Both are great and I love them. But WAP has that original STG feeling that is what originally attracted me to them.

Hey Everyone! I was introduced to Shiny Toy Guns during WAP... They became my favorite band quickly. SOP, however, for me is my favorite of the two. I think SOP is incredible. I'm interested to know how another album will be.

Oh man, I know, I'm so excited for another album! I hope we get on this year, as they alluded to once or twice.

The excitement from them having another album this year would probably cause me to combust with glee.

Not better, but not worse. Different. I hated it at first, but then I gave it a few more chances and realized that what made STG who they are was still ultimately there. We Are Pilots still holds a special place in my heart, but I've fully embraced Season of Poison.

I heard that as well and am also quite excited. Of course, I would probably love anything new that they put out...
