Does anyone have this, or have even SEEN it for sale anywhere? Maybe it's online only, I dunno. Here's a listing.

It's an old download a fan put together and released on P2P networks. Some unscrupulous mp3 sites try to sell it for money.

The quality is low, and the items therein are not rare.

Do you a have a source of this info? A torrent maybe?

Cold War was pretty tough for me to find.

What? A source? Myself. I downloaded this when I first became a fan of STG last year. If it was a real album, it would be on iTunes. It's a fan compilation. A bootleg.

As far as I know, there's not a torrent. As I said, it's on the ED2K network.

Hmm, okay.

Then how did Cold War and Love Or Something Like It originally get found?

Well it says that It was released 2001.
I don't think WAP was released 2001. I think it was 2005. Whatever. lol
Looks like a bad mix CD. lol

Cold War was obviously one of their first demos (hence the 2001).

Wow, there's no arguing with Nenapod. Wouldn't it be funny if he was wrong.

Next time someone goes backstage with the Shinys, I'm gonna have to demand that they ask 'em where the CD came from.

Until then, Nenapod has the correct answer.

Dude, like I said.

It's a bootleg. Like my torrent. If it was real, iTunes would have it. That thing is like olddd.

Don't be so quick to trust iTunes.

And still.

And still what?

If it was from when they weren't signed to universal, then there would have been a physical release as nothing they ever made was digital only. At one point, wap v2 was up on iTunes while still being sold as a CD.

This sort of thing is commonplace. Russian websites sell whatever mp3s they can get their hands on for very little money, making 100% profit because they pay no royalties. This is why they sell bootlegs.

If you want that album, here's what you do:
http://www.google.com/url?sa=U&start=1&q=http://www.emule-project.net/&ei=d0jaSaXqEZnglQfWvqndDA&sig2=ZumnWJPxl1_sXNr_HQMShA&usg=AFQjCNFItAxBush9c_r0tECZkxp2mgTNgA

Install that program. Follow the instructions, update your server.met.

Search through the servers and the KAD network for a "shiny toy guns" archive. It will be there. So will WAPv1, WAPv2, WAPv3, and the Le Disko Vinyl.

I've used pretty much every P2P program, so I know what you're talking about, but this is getting a bit off-hand.

I'm so confused... how can Cold War be 2001 when Carah Faye didn't join till 2004? As a matter of fact, I don't even think Ursula was in the band till 2002.
