What is your favorite Turn To Real Life Version? Is it Carah's? Or maybe Sisely's? Or is it realy Ursula's? Mine is Carah's. but we are all titled to our own opinon so yeah..... What shall it be?.....   |

T2rl w/ Sisley is more sensual. Carah's is more...idk...dynamic. Whcich is good. But Sisley ftw.

I like the beginning to Sisely's version.
But overall Carah's takes the cake.

I like the way Carah sings it better, but I like the sound of Sisley's. More polished. Sisley's version wins for me, but Carah is still the female vocals for the band in my heart.

I had heard in an interview that their record wanted Turned To Real Life on SOP and that they (Jeremy said it I believe with Chad) they were disappointed with the result. The updated one with Sisely just misses the little things that make the original just brilliant! Example being the faint "La la la la laa.." lol  & Carahs voice is errr, just dream like in it haha. So (Drum Roll... oh that was cheesy) I have to say my Favorite one is the first. ; D |

I had heard that too. It's also part of the reason why I was surprised that they updated Rocketship. I know what you mean about the little things from the first version that aren't there anymore. When I made my original post, I had only just recently started listening to the older version more frequently, so I was still pretty biased toward the Sisely version. I have a pretty hard time choosing between the two now. Lol. I'm so inconsistent about my favorite versions.  |

I know I'm the only one who thinks so... but I like Sisely's voice much better on Turned To Real Life. idky, but the way Carah sounds on it.. it just grates me. D: which is weird because I am a total Carah fanboy who worships the very ground she steps on. I'd even- well. I was going to post something but it'd probably be deleted. xD any*****. yes. well, idk. maybe "grate" isn't the right weird. Well, it really grated on me when I first heard Carah's version after being so used to Sisely's.
idk. they're so different. DX
and I have gotten used to Carah's voice on that song since then. but. but. but UGH!!!. *explodes into a poof of confetti and glitter*

except this was not a good explosion. the confetti was really blood clots and the glitter was... well I'm not quite sure actually. |
