All right, here's a synopsis and the videos.
Ahem.
My lovelies! It was a fabulous concert. We had to wait until 10:30 for the show, but I kind of expected that, so nothing new. We watched the crowd get drunk, especially this one girl who kind of had a major melt down shortly after the concert ended. Heh heh!
As for the Shinies, they were full of incredible energy. We were in the front again, but not dead center. They were all over the stage, into the music, and involved with the audience. While they were playing Mikey looked over in my direction, so I threw up the rock on fist, and he smirked and winked at me. And if that wasn't enough, Sisely was singing and I caught her eye and grinned widely and waved a little, and she grinned back and wiggled her fingers at me. AND, to top it off further, Chad saw me and looked pleasantly surprised, and turned to say something to Mikey, mid song. I felt extremely singled out and special at that point.
After they were done and ran off, they came back and played two more. And after that, I was hoping to get my cloud2ground and Sisely CD signed, but they didn't appear, so one of their crew members took it backstage and got it signed for me. I was very pleased!
We waited around for a bit, though, as we needed water and their crew member had said they would be coming out soon. Just when we were giving up and leaving, I saw them! I saw Sisely disappearing around a corner, and Chad saw me. He recognized me, smiled all big, ran over, and gave me a hug. Then he told me I had grown taller, Jeremy came over and they discussed my height, which ended with Jeremy measuring me, and concluding I had grown an inch since New year's. They had to dash off for a group photo and then run even faster onto their bus to hit the road. And then we all went home.
Yes, they remembered me. And yes, Chad hugged me. Yes, I enjoyed it. No, I may never recover.
