I (sadly Cry) haven't been to one of their concerts yet.
Ticket booths had just sold out, which made me very sad.

Anyway, to those of you who have been lucky enough to see them live.
How are they? It must be hard to perform live because of their techno stuff,
so I was just wondering how good they pull it off.

Not that it would make me not want to go any less. :]

They are so awesome live!  I saw them a few weeks ago when they were in town.  Some bands sound so bad when they are live but stg was so good!  The music to singing ratio was perfect!

The best part is that the venues are so small so it's super personal and you can see them so clearly. The glitter in their eyes, the looks they give each other as they play. You can usually meet them afterwards too!

Some people get mad when bands pipe in music, but how else would the Shinies get their songs played right? I'm not a concert snob and don't hold it against bands for piping.

The best party is seeing Chad's face as he sings and how his expressions change seamlessly and beautifully with the words. You feel like the only person in the world. Especially because you're so close you can see his face and pretend (it's SO easy to pretend this because there are only so many places he can look) that he looking at you. *off her own world*

So true. During one of the songs at the Baltimore show, Chad was actually looking right down at me while he sang for a whole 30 seconds or something. It felt like he was singing just for me... hehe.

Similar experience for me! I was smiling off my rocker the entire time! And my hands were clasped in bliss.
