STG just twittered (I recieved VIA text) that LA's 98.7fm is debuting MFT on Sunday. Which leads to airplay all around the US.

And I have a notion that the Music Video will released soon.

Worth the wait and great news!

Splendid! Now I just need to 1. find a rock radio station here in country-music-land and 2. wait patiently for a music video.

I'm probably not gonna like hearing MFT on the radio, but I will look forward to seeing a music video.

I actually really love MFT. It grew on me all of a sudden. One day I would skip it on my listening devices, and the next day I was cycling back to hear it again. And now I adore it.

Maybe it's because I can hear this emotion in the chorus. The angry tones when Chad sings "I'd give you money for THAT" and the whisper of pain and hurt behind "Is there SOMEWAY..." (I could go back). It tugs at that special chord in my heart that only Chad's voice can pluck.

I just contemplate what emotion I might possibly be feeling the moment I meet you as it may determine whether or not I kill you, make out with you, or ignore you.

I don't think you'd like any of those except the last one. So let's strive for it.

I love Money for That! I listen to to KROQ more than 98.7 FM but I will change to the station more often just to hear Money for That.

I very nearly posted asking if we were ever going to get MFT 3 days ago.  I want a version without the morphs between the songs it sits next to on Season of Poison.

i like it, but it reminds me a lot of the foo fighter's style.  not a bad thing, just different for STG.  but every time i hear it i think "this sounds like something the foo fighters would do".

Now that you mentioned it, they do sort of sound like the Foo Fighters...at least during parts of the singing. Maybe not so much the music, but I see what you mean. Smiley

I feel like anything Chad sings Alli will inevitably love. It's just a fact of life.

But I do like MFT, just not as much as some others. And I have still yet to hear it on the radio.

M-maybe!  Embarrassed

I am still totally critical of lyrics and musicality. But his voice is a force of nature, and I reckon with it.

I like the MFT demo more than the finished version. Acoustic sounds better for the song.
