Matty. Do you have to be so gross? The girls here don't want to read that.
Yes. I would stomp on your foot right now if I could. You drive me crazy sometimes. I am the source of all insanity.

Methinks that, that whole convo before this post should either be moved or deleted. xD And I apologize for my nasty little bit. It was funny though.

I heard about Shiny Toy Guns on KROQ on 2006. They played Le Disko and when I heard it, it was really good. I did not have internet back then and I forgot their name. Then I heard Ricochet! on KROQ and they said Shiny Toy Guns and I said to myself "I remember that name". Good I still hear the radio.

I am happy that I found them again. The radio still plays some good music.

I love discovering bands after they have a few albums already out. You have a huge array of songs to listen too rather than simply a 1st album release - even though STG first was still impressive it's great to have more than simply 10 or so songs.

That is good to find out good bands after they have a few albums! But I like finding good bands from the beginning.

I agree with both of you. I LOVE being with a band from the start because it feels like you grow up together. You have their music to associate with your life as it goes on and then you get to listen to the band evolve as they make more music. Of course, having a bunch of "new" CDs from a band you've just discovered is awesome as well. I'm always pleased when I find a new band I like and discover that there's another CD out besides the one I had been obsessively listening to. It's a pleasant surprise.

i like "growing up" with a band. i came onto the STG scene late. But the other 2 fav bands of mine, Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold, already had a couple CDs out before i jumped on the bandwagon. But to fall in love with a band in the infant stage and then watch them grow is truly a better experience.

this is kind of how I feel with Deas Vail. then again... a lot of people still don't listen to them. o.o
also, Paramore. I loved them BEFORE Misery Business and Decode.

Me too Chessy! Me too!
I barely own up to that with people I don't know though...they are mean and judge me, so I omit.
