I like the song. Sorry, I did not know, but am appreciative of you letting us know. Maybe Hele will put this song in the music list we have in the other topic?

i'm always wary of adding stuff like this, only because i wonder if they want to keep it secret? i don't want to seem like a stalker.

I wouldn't worry about seeming like a stalker. This is a fan forum; this is the sort of thing we share. I also like to think of it this way, the internet is not private. If they don't want people to find out, then creating a myspace page for their project is a poor way to keep their secret. You know?

mm, i did it anyway.
and i've been checking out stephen petree now. it's amazing how these brothers have such gorgeous voices and actually sound quite similar. there's even a clip on his albums teaser that sounds just like frozen oceans. he's singing "i can't wait, i can't wait". i wonder how much stg/stephen crossover there is? it seems i've fallen in love with a whole family!

True, if they wanted it to be a private thing, they wouldn't have put it up on the internet. And if they put it up and still want it to be private, they'll deny your invite. And then it's not an issue. They won't sit around thinking about how creepy that one kid was for adding them on MySpace. Probably.

Or how creepy it is that some 20 year old fat guy runs back to the forum with every detail he hears about STG. thats me =]Now thats stalker-ish. They Accepted me. *shrug*. Plus when STG was an "embryonic stage" band on myspace, they wanted to get known. So why would they want a side project to get known? Its experimental too. So, they hopefully wont stick with one Genre/Subgenre.

Well, Stephen co-writes STG songs. So the statment would not be false.

That they are doing a project (album or something) together is big news. But wouldn't it weaken STG if all of Stephen's writing now goes into the bros. catalog by default?

Maybe, but I think it unlikely. Stephen helps write STG music, but then again so does Jeremy. Stephen is only a third of the people who write the music we love. There's a lot about this project that we don't know either. I don't think it is fair to assume that because Chad and Stephen are writing music together for this project, that they won't write any more together for STG. Why can't they do their project and STG work at the same time? I don't know about any one else, but when I listen to the song that they did together, I don't think it sounds like something that STG would play. Yes. It sounds like the Petree brothers. However, it's not STG to me. Gah, hope that makes sense. I am having a terrible time articulating my thoughts this evening.

Ok Ok ok. So they uploaded a revamped kick-face-and-ass version of Shaken. Not STG sounding but bitchen..... And I was curious if one of you lovely people could either DL it...or refer me to a program that can aid me in my journey. I mean, OMG the track is AMAZING You'll want it.

I see. I do like Shaken and I like this version. Now I'm not complaining, but what is their deal with redoing old songs? I love the old stuff, but I'm beginning to wonder... Sorry, I do not have the skills for getting songs off of myspace, but I second the need to find someone who'd be willing to get them.

I think Chad and Stephen really like Shaken so they redid it with the Petree Bros touch. They redid other songs?

Oh my gosh. This is epic.
They've meshed 3 different versions of the song together!!
Version 1, version 2, and a concert version!
My soul is on fire. It's. On. Fire. I might pass out, guys. I'm serious. Holy crap.
I need to lay down.

Which is all it is. If this version ever becomes available, I'm removing this link and I expect you guys to buy it. Or I will never share unattainable music again. *glare* Anyway, enjoy! http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?gh2dmodzyeuYou'll have to click the download button (I think it works for EVERYONE this way, as it didn't work for Cilly before)

I always do. I own as much legal music as I can and I prefer it that way. I shall enjoy this until the day I can buy it for my own.
