Britney isn't that good a singer.
And people may rag on Gaga's voice and looks, but I think she can sing just fine. At least she has talent.
Totally agree. Britney sounds like CRAP uneditted. And I also lived about 10 minutes from where her home neighborhood is in Louisiana, and they always had billboards up everywhere "We Love You, Britney". Made me sick. There are VERY few people in this world that I dislike in an extreme manner, but she is one of them. I won't get any more detailed than that.
As to Gaga, I have to say I was very reluctant to listen to her music at first, because I was afraid she was just another arrogant female artist who wanted to garner as much attention as possible by letting her butt and boobs hang out of every outfit and wear the most outrageous clothes to get people to watch her. BUT -- even though I still do not agree with all her ideas and tastes, I have grown to have a lot of respect for her creativity and musical ability. I think she has a great singing voice (her spoken/rap stuff is not so great, but oh well.) And I have seen several of her interviews, and find her to be very intelligent and interesting. While I know we would disagree on several points on politics and philosophy, I think she and I would get along well.
I have four or five of her songs on my mp3 list, and I LOVE Paparazzi because it makes me think of me in my wild and crazy pro-Mikey state from time to time.
