So, I'm going back to the past a bit, but remember this twitter message? Tomorrow we begin working on a new song for a huge disney film, so alas the van comes home.
What ever happened to this? I haven't found any news about it lately. Wikipedia says it's for 2010, but I haven't found anything confirming that (so I don't trust it...). However, given the lack of information, I do think it would be pretty sweet if they had a song in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland (which happens to be coming out in March). I can even imagine a Shiny song in Burton's film versus some of the other Disney films set for release too. Anyone else know anything? Thoughts? General excitement for Alice and Wonderland? |

Man, AiW looks awesome. I'll bet it's for that movie. I can't imagine it being in the Princess and the Frog movie.... *gags*

Yeah...definitely not Princess and the Frog. That would be silly. I'm glad someone else thinks it could be Alice too.  I've been looking forward to this movie for a few months already and I'd be super excited if STG was involved. |

Joe, I had been wondering if you'd comment with your user name and all... So, yeah, I not surprised you love all three.  I don't know if recording Finale/Reprise necessarily backs up that they might be part of Alice. It could mean they just like Burton and Elfman... Plus, it was recorded long after the original movie; more like a tribute, you know? |

Well, me and Lash wrote to our myspace and I brought it up that they could make a song for the new Toy Story moive. It does come out in 2010 and we both like the other 2 Toy Story moives. Opinion anyone?

Toy Story is THE best. If they did a song for it I would be just as happy. But I think Alice in Wonderland makes more sense. |

Yeah I remember that Nate. I wouldnt be surprised for "AiW". But to answer Kara's Q, I think they haven't talked about it is because ( - lol, i would assume - ) that they are busy. Just an assumption I think after GLD comes out, we might hear some news. |

I still think Alice fits better as far as their sound goes. But to answer Kara's Q, I think they haven't talked about it is because ( - lol, i would assume - ) that they are busy. Just an assumption I think after GLD comes out, we might hear some news. Yeah they have been pretty busy lately. Plus, the soundtrack information hasn't been released for either movie (AIW or TS3). Maybe they're not allowed to mention anything yet. I do think it's possible that we will know more after GLD comes out since it will be a new year and all. |
