I heard Le Disko and started listening to their myspace daily. Their CD was only like $9 at Target so I decided to buy it when I saw it randomly and for a long time, it never left my CD player and it was always playing on my IPod. It was all of the songs that got me into them really.
Yea I heard le disko on MTV and went on their myspace and here I am today Their cd is the most played on my zune

Le Disko or You Are The One was the first song I've heard from them. I was checking their myspace cause they were opening for Evanescence last year.

WHAT! Are you serious? They opened for Evanescence?!?! How did I miss out on thattttt??? That was the dagger of the night.....you totally ruined my day...haha jk...sorta. Evanescence was the first band I ever actually fell in love with. They're the reason I got into music. First concert was Ev too <3. What a random match up though. Hmm, I can't quite remember where I heard Le Disko. It might have been browsing off of someones MySpace. But that was my first song and I fell in love <3.

ANDDDD, when I was a freshman in high school, Evanescence was the first concert I ever attended. It was pretty awesome. That's when they were touring withhhh Atomship and Default. Not too great, but I was only there for Eva. <3

There are so many haters but the haters have no idea what Ev is all about! I'm so glad you love them too! Do you know what's going on right now with them?? It's only Amy and Terry I think, right? What the heck happened to the rest and why? It's been bothering me for a long time now. Lets both hardcore practice on drums and bass and guitar and join . haha

ROFL. Funny that you ask.
After their Live in Paris DVD thing they released, I didn't hear much from them. I honestly STILL don't have that new album of theirs with Lithium on it. I've only heard about 3 or 4 songs from it. I suppose it's not new anymore, lol.
So about half a year ago, sometime in the beginning of this year, I decided to check up on them - and OMG!!! I FREAKED OUT!!! I realized that JOHN ANDDDD ROCKY left the band!!! I was like WHAT?! This really caught me off guard. John was HOT! omg. lol.
So now, I still watch the DVD for memories. My favorite is the karaoke part - where Ben from Breaking Benjamin is there, and the dude from Seether, and how they are singing Eva's song. Hahaha. Hilarious. <3 good times.

Ah I seeee! Well the 'newest' album out is called "The Open Door" To be honest I had to listen to it about 5 times over till I got used to the songs. It's a lot more deep and Opera-ish I'd say. But some of the songs hit you really hard. One of them, "Like You" literally made me cry my eyes out. If you've ever lost someone you love, sing the lyrics with the song and I swear it'll make you cry. lol. But I really like the album! I love the rock and more straight to the point easy singing in the Fallen album but this one is on a different level . You should get it! I bet it's way cheaper now. Have you heard of the album Origin? That one has some interesting songs on there. Pretty good. I had a crazy Ev/Amy Lee obsession a while back . And yeahhhh when I heard John and Rocky left I was like, "WHATTT??" I still don't know why but I was crushed I loveddd Rocky!!! And I heard that Seether dude was abusive in their relationship? Whether it was physical or emotional I don't know but I heard physically? "The Last Song I'm Wasting On You" - listen to that, it's about their relationship...or so I think.

Yeah, I've heard of Origin. I heard of that album back in like, 2002. I actually have a couple songs from that album on my ipod. I have Exodus, Anywhere, Even In Death, and Farther Away. I'm pretty sure Farther Away was originally on Origin. I'm not a big fan of Exodus. It has a weird sound, lol. But I do like the latter 3.
I think I'll give the album a listen soon. I've been meaning to do so, but I just never really stick to that plan (The Open Door).
And you were crushed finding out about Rocky?! I was crushed that John left! I was like :O!!! I used to be so in love with him. Both, him and Amy. I always thought she was so beautiful, and admired the fact that she made/designed her own clothes most of the time.
As for the Seether dude - I'm not sure if it was physical abuse, but I do know it was emotional for sure. "Call Me When You're Sober" is about him always being drunk. I remember reading these articles about how she put his life in danger for exposing him for what he was - a drunk - by writing songs from his life. And a bunch of hardcore fans used to kind of stalk him and give him dirty looks because of how he treated her. He mentioned this one time when he was at a hotel and he walked out, some Eva fan was in his car blaring the lyrics "Selfishly hated, no wonder you're jaded." He really thought that at any moment he could be stabbed, or killed because of Amy's lyrics. And he called her a child for doing that, because she had no right exposing his lifestyle and using that as some kind of inspiration to write music.

Yay for Ev fans! STG opened for 1 show last year during The Open Door tour when Sick Puppies cancelled or something. I wasn't there though. The news of Rocky and John's departure left me really pissed off at Amy, but I'm over it now since the band is pretty much gone. Amy Lee is leaning towards a solo album and I heard Terry might be joining Limp Bizkit for their next record. Grrr. Ev could've been something huge but I guess Amy just outgrew it. As for TOD vs Fallen, I prefer TOD because musically it's far more interesting but lyrically, Fallen wins.

Don't Cry Out...
I was surfin' Myspace a few years back and found Kill Hannah on there somehow, and Shiny Toy Guns was one of their top music friends, checked them out from there. Best Mysapce discovery ever. I then proceeded to buy both albums (v1 & v2) from iTunes the next day.
I've been hunting down their stuff ever since. The worst thing I've ever done (and continually hate myself for) is sell v2 when I needed the $$ one time. Geerrrr, I shoulda went hungry for a few days, seriously! I won't forgive it until I find another one some day!

okay. So first song I ever heard from them was Le Disko on MTV underground. my first thought was "Is that two girls kissing?!" and then I thought "...did she just become a praying mantis creature thingy and eat them all?!" and then I. well it was really all just a blur after that.

I was watching Fuse I believe and saw Le Disko. And kept rewinding to figure out if that person in the video was a guy or girl that was all like freaking out at the very end of it.

I think it's interesting to see newish fans who love STG for stuff from SOP when for a lot of us it was music from WAP and addicted us. I like that they still have that power, even though some may say they lost it with SOP. They totally didn't.

I'm so excited for them. Every time they release something new it's like Christmas, and more people are exposed to the loveliness which they are. I want everyone to love them!
