Okay so these are my top five albums of '09 5. Björk's live album Voltaic All my Favorite Björk songs wrapped in it's Volta goodness... 4.Peter, Bjorn and John's Living Thing Catchy beats and tunes always makes me happy.. 3.Micachu's Jewlery Drill and Bass pop... What more can you ask for? 2.Fever Ray's Self titled Debut Mesmerizing... Very nature-like and mothering calmness is good to hear when wanting to hear something new and refreshing... 1.Otep's Smash The Control Machine Metal in its smartest state, where Otep unleashes her best work as of yet! She pummels your brain to a pulp but still has a way to get ideas across... So, what are your 5 favorite albums of this year?

5. Swoon, by Silversun Pickups
4. Ludo, by Ludo (Rerelease, with bonus track)
3. The Fame Monster, by Lady Gaga
2. Crossing the Rubicon, by The Sounds
1. Ocean Eyes, by Owl City
I won't list GLD because I haven't technically heard it yet. Plus it's mostly remixes.

Oh darn, I forgot about Crossing the Rubicon. I guess if I were to add it it would MAYBE take Lambert's place... But I don't know. Lambert's Cd was more enjoyable for me. Brings this sexual monster out of me. The Sounds have been letting me down with their last two albums. The first was PURE brilliance. Second was only half good. Third was better.. But a little bit too slow for me.

Going off of albums I listened to most; It's been a pretty mainstream year for me (almost exclusively). 5. This is War, by 30 Seconds to Mars 4. Girls Le Disko, by Shiny Toy Guns (okay, it hasn't been listened to much yet...but it's only a day old!) 3. Crash Love, by AFI 2. Brand New Eyes, by Paramore 1. The Fame Monster, by Lady Gaga If I could have expanded the list, I would have liked to add the Sounds, Mute Math, and the Fray as well. P.S. I have the "Carol of the Bells" done by Bird and the Bee. I enjoy it...it's a little different than most Christmas music. P.P.S. Heh, if I remove Lady Gaga, the music looks a lot like the line-up I loved when I was 18. Sigh...
