Has anyone seen the We Are pilots artwork? It should be called We Are Eerie.

Seriously, I love it and all.. But it looks like something from Silent Hill.

Such a dark rough piece of art for such a soft song.

This is totally my favorite artwork from Shiny Toy Guns.

And while the musical part of WAP is soft, the lyrics are definitely more on the heavy side. I think I relate to this song more than any other from them.

Anywho, I think the artwork fits perfectly. The song is about wanting acceptance from your parents, and the picture reminds me of how a toddler will reach up for their mom or dad wanting to be picked up and held. But of course the song deals with how the parents have rejected the child for whatever reason (I have my own theory), and this art portrays the emotional despair of the child wanting acceptance and love from the parent.

I think WAP is about homosexuality, and a child that is estranged because of it. Their parent's won't accept it.

I just wish the song sounded as powerful as it's lyrics do. Lyrically it's a fantastic song. The image definitely goes with it. Sound-wise.. It's just too.. Dare I say ~gay~ *shrugs*

Yes, I love him. Can't help it. Don't want to.

Okay, this is one of my favorite STG songs, so now I feel like I have to go back and look up the artwork again.... Especially since I completely relate to the song, and am definitely NOT gay.
