This is also another song that i think doesnt get enough attention as it should. It has so far never been mentioned on this site yet...i think lol And i want to hear what you guys think about it? BTW i tabbed it out last night for guitar so if anyone has been curious on how to play the song just give let me know  |

And yeah, it's a good song. I hate how some of their awesome music never made it to the final version of We Are Pilots. But it's cool they're bringing in Turned to real life and redoing it for Season of Poison.

Anyway, I don't care as much as I do for Photograph. I love that song and it pissed me off that it never made it onto the final version of WAP

I don't think there will be. We Are Pilots was their first album.. and it seems they just weren't sure how to handle their songs.. So... basically they pulled a George Lucas and made it better... And kept doing it till they were satisfied.
With SOP, I think they know where they are and what they want to do.

For those of who (yes I will admit to this) do not know how Robert Smith feels about Friday I'm in love, enlighten us. And oh man, I really love Rocketship. I'm just kind of mad I had to buy an entire album to get it off of iTunes. Especially when it was the only song I wanted. And the only song I listened to for 2 weeks afterwards.. <3 |

Rocketship is by far one of my most favorite songs.
and i needs to get wayy more attention then it does.
i love the part in the middle where it slows to a stop, and you think it's over
and then it starts up again!!
goodness. i listen to it so much it's insane.

i know! it makes me so sad! i want all of their music! so are they re-doing Turned to Real Life then? is it with Sisely's voice, because wasn't the first version with Carah? |

Yeh! i mean Sisleys voice isnt Carahas but its some ways better, Carahs voice is more soft and harmonic

robert smith loathes friday, i'm in love. but they used to play it because it was a crowd pleaser. chad and jeremy both hate rocketship. it's a super old song, and they've grown tired of it and the lyrics. yet they play it because again, it is a crowd pleaser.
