It definitely sounds single-worthy. Though you never know.

BTW, love the group picture on STG's homepage Tongue

Jeremy replied to somebody on Facebook when asking about when the album will come out.

Quote
We decided to stop saying the date or time because it keeps changing ... however, it will be in 2012, as soon as our record label will allow it to come out in the new year

Next year? I'm not surprised. It's pretty much on par with them. At least we know they aren't rushing.

While on one hand it's kind of a disappointment, I wasn't really expecting it this year anymore tbh. One the other hand though, I'm glad they'll just finish it without holding themselves to a strict deadline or something. And on top of that it sounds like they're definitely getting closer to completing the album, polishing it and deciding which songs will make the CD etc. One thing remains unchanged: I'm still totally stoked for the release Wink

I agree with both of you. I'm not surprised. A little sad because I was hoping for the CD by Christmas, but I know it will be worth the wait. Jeremy also said something about a studio version of Speaking Japanese soon too. I will have to try and find it again so I can quote it directly. Also, a question was put on their page about how many tracks would  we like to see on their album. There is another thread for that here too. Definitely exciting stuff.

I figured I'd share this here. I'm loving it! It is the full song of Speaking Japanese from the Minnesota DJ set, I believe.

I really, really like this song. I mean, I thought Stay Down was my favorite new song, but maybe it's tied with this one as well?

This one is definitely my favorite so far. I love The Sun and Stay Down, but I absolutely love this song. I can't wait for the studio version!

Ok, the riff on "Speaking Japanese" sounds really familiar to me; reminds me of another song, but I can't place it. Any thoughts?

P.S. I saw them here in Chicago in August. So good. So great seeing Carah with them again!

Okay, so, I think it actually reminds me of Hella Good, by No Doubt. Just the chorus, and it's not significant, but it's cool.

Glad this song will be part of the album, loved listening to it. Its weird to think we've been discussing rumors about this song for almost two years!
