Exactly. Whatever is happening, I think it'll all be all right. It's not like Sisely is going to die and be gone. She'll do something else and Matty can still worship her majesty. And Jeremy and Chad and Mikey will still be there, being sexy men who create fabulous music. And they'll still be friends. Whatever happens.

I feel like everyone really truly needs to sit down, close their eyes, take a deep breath, and remind themselves that it is just a band name. I honestly think the thing they're going after is more of a show or display.

I think any musical group or partnership has to grow as the individuals grow. And, of course, musical influences change as we grow and ourselves become new people. So, this was all pretty much inevitable, in my opinion. The heart of the MUSIC is still there, and they are great creative minds. They aren't going to push Sisely out of the picture unless she wants to be out. They know she has good creative influences.
Actually, considering the last 4 shows I saw with her she always sounded tired and sickly, and has lost a lot of weight (health?) Sisely may NEED a break from performing for a while. She might just sit back and help with creation and take a backseat to the physical side of things. This may all be to her benefit so that when STG tours in the Fall she can be fit as a fiddle again.
Personally, I like the evolution concept for two reasons:
1. It shows that Jeremy and Chad are true to their hearts, and to their creation and not to a public pressure to be popular.
2. The REAL fans of the music will know how to follow along, and maybe we'll get more of those intimate concerts like we used to when STG first started, because it won't be to a stadium of fans who simply saw the Lincoln commercial and came to see STG, but people who truly love the music for what it is.
My two, ok, maybe three cents.
Oh, and not that anyone cares or anything, but _I_ can wield a sword just fine. I have been a fencer for almost 15 years.

Mirror Machines coming soon. Shiny Toy Guns third album will be coming late this year, early next year. Sisely is not leaving Shiny Toy Guns but she is not involved in Mirror Machines. Stay Tuned.

it's just weird he ansered the " you guys got a new singer a few years ago" question with well we're starting a new band blahh blah.
i'm excited now that i've thought about it.
i just really really hope that shiny toy guns doesn't get thrown on too the side, and stay that way.
