If anybody here owns both the special and regular versions of WAP v3, you'll notice that while the songs in the normal version of v3 are completely split, the special edition has segues in between a couple of the tracks (COACC and Waiting has one).

I received my demo/preview edition of v3 today, and it's identical to the special edition in the way that there are segues in between some of the songs. Other than that, there are no changes to any of the tracks, which is strange because the CD is dated 2005. Obviously, the Shinys were waiting for the right moment to release the album.

Never knew there was a version of WAP without the segues. I've owned two copies and both were segued (only for a few songs, though)

Gonna put up the demo version?

Also, I never knew it wasn't segued.... The vinyl is too.

I've got a normal version.  It segues between COACC and Waiting (we're talking about how one song fades into the next, if anyone reading is confused), so I'm not sure what you're talking about.  The demo version doesn't segue because they probably didn't even have the track order set in stone yet.

Invert the direct rip files from the preview version and paste it over the normal version to quickly and perfectly tell what the differences are (using music editing software).

That's just it, the demo version DOES segue.

My regular edition doesn't.

My special edition does.

Thinking about it, my regular version has sound defects at the end of We Are Pilots (the track). It's been reported by someone else on this forum that theirs does this too. Maybe it was supposed to be segued, but something went wrong when the discs were being produced?
