My thoughts? I have so many right now. Number 1: I'm quite excited. I'm hoping for a new CD. They do have a history of countdowns. They did a countdown for SOP after all. But then I think about the fact that most CDs are released on Tuesdays, and February 10th is a Thursday. So then I think maybe it's a single, or at least I hope it's a single. We've been waiting for 3 years, so I think it's probably time. Of course this could be a countdown to a release date and a CD name, which would be exciting, but also kind of disappointing. I've read talk about it being a music video, but I doubt that would be it... I've never heard of a band releasing a video for a song that hasn't been released. Unless of course they did a new video for a SOP song, which would be utterly heart breaking (and not very likely). I could keep going...but this is what my thoughts are like. One big continuous stream of what ifs. As for the site, I like the background image and the piano loop. No idea if it's related to Inception, but I could easily listen to it all day. Oh one more thought. What if they named the CD "You're Waiting for a Train".  Can you imagine... YWFAT... you fat. Okay. Sorry. Done now. |

It could be the date of a digital release. That might not be limited to a Thursday. Plus, it's not a rule to release new things on Tuesdays. I remember working at a big chain bookstore, and occasionally, we'd have a book released on a Friday or a Saturday. Of course, our shipments weren't delivered until Tuesdays, so it didn't matter anyway.

as for it being a digital release, that would seem almost anticlimactic. Idk. It seems like they would want the word to get out that they're releasing a new CD and not just drop one.

Okay... no one else has mentioned it (unless I somehow missed an alternate thread), so I will....
Now that the countdown has started, why did STG give me a total heart attack by changing all their Facebook stats to (?). All the member names are left out, as well as the record label, etc. After all that hubub about NOT changing band members... now are they? *sigh* So flabbergasted by it all.
