Sisely is not doing the third album. We don't know who the two new members are though.

I'm gonna seriously miss Sisely as a part of STG. Not gonna lie. Frozen Oceans is my favorite song by them. I can't wait to see what the solo world has for her. I really like her collabs with Dave Aude so far.

Two new members? I've been out of the loop for awhile... Yeah. Jeremy said to me (over email) that Shiny Toy Guns is now a five piece band. Sisely announced her leave to Alli and I over Facebook. I am sad to see her go. But I'm more pissed than I am sad. Some of the comments on the Facebook status are driving me nuts. These people aren't even fans. Just douchebags that haven't gotten over Carah. I mean, Jesus... I had tremendous admiration for Sisely, but I'm not running around whining like a little girl over her leaving. |

aaahhhh Ok, I gotcha now... Interesting - never thought of them as a 5 piece... Yea, the FB comments are rediculous... So for my wife and I (who are pretty big STG fans), at first, we didn't care for Sisely's voice. However, over time, it did grow on me as did the SOP album. I appreciate both WAP and SOP for their differences and I'm curious to see what this new chapter of the band offers. For what it's worth - I just heard Siselys new single and it's pretty darn good. I do wish her the best. |

I am quite disappointed. Sisely has really grown on me and I felt like alot of people never gave her a chance. Frozen Oceans is one of my favorite songs ever by any artist. I really hope it is because she decided that this isn't what she wanted and not because she got kicked out or because she was tired of people bashing her for not being carah.
And where is there any mention of TWO new members?
So far, not a fan of the news!

I'm glad they finally got that out in the open. It'll leave the countdown untarnished, holding only good news, which is nice. However those people on facebook....I want to smack them all. They're being completely rude. I am so angry right now. Fans do not do that to a band they claim to love. Arrgh.  Um, I am also wondering where they announced the 5 member thing. Are you sure we didn't just spill the beans? Oh, and I think it possible that a year ago when the rumors started, it was possible that Sisely was thinking of leaving. However, they did do some STG shows this winter...so she hasn't been gone that long. |

yea... D: sigh it is really saddening, I just hope her solo career goes well, and that I can see her in all her beauty live someday.. Also on the other two secret members I am calling it right now.... La Roux/Elly Jackson is one of them... just cause I want her to be.

I saw people talking about the 5 members this evening on facebook before I logged into the forum tonight (and knew about this reveal). You didn't reveal it anywhere besides this thread. No worries. I was only slightly confused earlier this evening when I saw strangers talking about the 5 member thing, but this thread explains how they'd know (as in they read it). That's what I was getting at.
