What do you guys think?
Now that Carah's back, what are the odds that they might do some more MV's from WAP? There are some songs that seriously need videos, I feel like. Like the title track.
And do you think we'll get a new MV around the release of the album? Or will they wait?

Well, they're giving us a song at the end of the month, which mean they'll probably release it as an official single fairly soon after. Then I could see them releasing a music video a little while after the single release, but before the summer when the album comes. I'm thinking they need to do that stuff, not for the current fans who will already buy the CD, but to generate some hype and radio/video play for they're new fans (all the people other there who don't already listen).
As for WAP, no, I don't think we'll see more videos from that album. I know everyone loved it and Carah is back now...but I think they still want to focus on the new stuff. WAP is over. Just like SOP is over. And even GLD. Our next video should be from III.
Also we have Daniel to remember. What kind of welcome would it be to their new band member to do a video for something that he had nothing to do with?

I don't think they'll do music videos for old songs lol. Unless it's way down the road, and/or the rerelease a WAP, and they have a lot of extra time. lol And I imagine that we'll get a single and a music video before the album is released. Makes the most sense to create more buzz for the album.

I am murderously desirous to hear Carah sing the SOP songs. All of them. I know she helped write some of them, so that means some of them were written for HER voice... so... I mean... Sometimes I feel like "I Owe Your a Love Song" was meant for her to sing...

I'd have a bit of an issue with that. That would seem a little disrespectful to Sisely. Having Carah sing it in concert is one thing. Having her sing it in a music video is another. That's one of the songs Sisely shined the most in. You wouldn't want them to do a music video for JWSM and have Sisely sing it, would you?

I definitely agree. I just wish the ending was a bit different still. It goes on too long or something idk. I'd have a bit of an issue with that. That would seem a little disrespectful to Sisely.

That's actually what I was thinking of as I was typing that post, lol. But I just thought it would sound weird to say to have a music video with Sisely's voice and no Sisely. Then again, they could just have a straight up music video with no STG members in it at all, and just actors and a story. I'd like that actually.

It's true. Sisely really exploded that song into something special. I remember when I clicked play and it was first time hearing her sing, and I just trembled the entire song, covered in goosebumps, my breathing far too shallow to be healthy. It belongs to her.

Alli I could read your words into eternity. *_* But I agree. Sisely and that song is pretty much what made me fall in love with the band. That, and the Rainy Monday music video. Both just kind of collided and sent me flying.

I'd really love to hear Carah sing the SOP songs in concert, and I agree with Alli, I've always wondered if Frozen Oceans I Owe You A Love Song was meant for Carah. However, since the songs became Sisely's, I don't think I could stand them rerecording them with Carah. It's an insult to Sisely and would destroy an already great CD. Besides, if they redid SOP, it's like they're pretending that the past three years didn't happen. I think the best thing about this break/reunion is that they're starting fresh with new music, so that those who love SOP can love it, and those who hate SOP can continue to ignore it.

Exactly. I'm not really wanting them to rerecord anything, I just was thinking that you couldn't have a Frozen Oceans video with Carah lip syncing to Sisely lol. But they could always just not have any members in it, like I was saying. Not that this will ever happen anyway. haha

I'm definately against the re-recording of any old songs. They need to focus on III. With the return of Carah, the beautiful score we heard last week, and now a fifth member, I have very high hopes that this record will be epic. Yes, EPIC. Like, let's make some music history with it. I want to see STG put their all into this record.

Definitely think epic is the word. I have a feeling it will outdo both WAP and SOP.
