So, I like to read a lot. ^_^

I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

This doesn't have to be a place where you list books.

But you can also talk about the books you have read, etc - whatever you want.

So far, some books I have read are:

The Twilight Series (1-4; now reading what's posted of Midnight Sun)
The Host
Marked, Betrayed, Chosen, Untamed (PC and Kristin Cast)
Cirque Du Freak saga (1-12)
Demonata series (only 1-6 i believe. last one i read was Demon Apocalypse)
Night World Volume 1

I'm looking for some supernatural books. Vampires/Demons/Werewolves. Preferably vampires. But not limited to supernatural. It could be anything. I've read books like Speak, The Jungle, A Walk to Remember haha.

 Any suggestions?

The Golden Compass is the first book of one of my favorite series of all time.  the movie didn't even come close to doing it justice.  i'd highly recommend it.

I like to read a lot too.

I just finished The Hunger Games by Collins (i cant remember her first name)

and i really liked it. it was very addicting to read, kind of a thrill.

but it's just one in a series, and i was really PO'd after i found that out.
and i'm not sure when the next is coming but yes.

the first two Maximum Ride books are okay. the last two pretty much suck, in my opinion.

hmm. Harry Potter?? :]

1. The Golden Compass. I THINK I've heard of that. Was that part of the His Dark Materials trilogy?

2. The Hunger Games, I think I meant to check that out. Stephenie Meyer posted a recommendation of that book on her website, so I thought I might give it a try.

3. I've read all the HP books. lol.

yes, it is part of the His Dark Materials trilogy.  the first book.  Coma Therapy is a good one, too.   it's written by the former singer of Strata, and now he sings in his new band The Limousines (call me obsessed, but both are great).

Strata sounds familiar. I think I heard a couple songs back in 2004-2005 on Fuse. Then never anything else. I didn't know he wrote books. Interesting.

their stuff from that time period wasn't anywhere near as good as their stuff now.  they've truly changed styles from nu-metal to poppy indie-rock.

but yes, eric does write books.  in fact, his new one "Trading Shadows for Sunshine" is being released within the next couple weeks (it's in print right now).  and of course, i'll be ordering it.  Smiley

Yeah, the hunger games is good. but sometimes aggrivating. at least to me.

And even if you have read all the HP books, you should read them again.
because they are just that good.

and the Golden Compass.
i don't even want to talk about those books.
three books of reading and that's how he ended it?

i was serioulsy like 'wtf? serious?"
after i read it.

granted, good series. interesting. pretty beast.
i loved the polar bear who ate out the other dudes' heart.

but gah! i don't want to talk about it.

Any suggestions?

Have you read the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice? They're supposed to be pretty good. They're a little older too, compared to series like Twilight, Sookie Stackhouse or True Blood. I've actually just started reading Interview with a Vampire...it's seems good so far, but I'm also only like 50 pages in. Lol.

Also, I agree with the comments about His Dark Materials trilogy. So good. Of course, it is possible that you've read them already, since this post it pretty old. Smiley
