I saw Badfish play yesterday. They're a Sublime tribute band but they open with their own band called Scotty Don't without telling the audience it's them (most people don't know their faces ahead of time). Pretty brilliant because they get a big crowd, make good money and yet still get to play original stuff every night and get attention on that stuff too.
As I was watching the lead singer I couldn't help seeing a resemblance to Chad, not just in his look but his demeanor too. Which is ironic since he really doesn't look or act much like the late Bradley Nowell of Sublime, haha.

The frontman never had to prompt the crowd to sing along and he acted very nonchalant about how crazy into it they were, like it was the norm. People come to a "sublime" show to have a good time, no doubt.
